I saw a story about Bikram Yoga on the news. I was intrigued so I came in for the 10-day trial. I was hooked after my first class. What keeps me coming back is the high quality of the instruction, and the group energy from the other students each and every class.HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE?
I practice 5-6 days a week.WHAT, IF ANY PHYSICAL ISSUES DID YOU HAVE?
I had knee pain, tightness in my hips, lower back, and neck. I also needed improvement in my balance.WHAT ARE THE GREATEST BENEFITS OF YOUR PRACTICE?
I'm more flexible, my balance has improved, and I have more self-discipline and endurance from when I first started. I've also found I can now let go of distracting thoughts with less mental resistance.HOW HAS THE PTRACTICE CHANGED YOUR LIFE, HEALTH, EMOTIONAL WELL BEING?
I have less stress, I go with the flow more, and it’s easier to enjoy the present moment. I eat healthier, I have less interest in material things, and my spiritual life has expanded.WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF BIKRAM YOGA?
That feeling of accomplishment at the end of class. In the final Savasana, I can feel all the benefits flowing through my body. Each day the Yoga gets better and better.
