Latoya Neumann

Perpetually pinned "the crazy one", Latoya was born and raised an Army brat. Growing up in Germany, she was fortunate to travel throughout Europe until the age of 16. She moved to Texas with her family where she later graduated from UTSA with a B.A. in Psychology.

After college, she became increasingly interested in health, fitness, and all around wellbeing. She stumbled upon the yoga looking for an "easy" way to tone up and trim down. The latter part was more exact than the former. Despite the obvious difficulty of the yoga, Latoya was hooked from the beginning. Besides the physical changes, she realized that this yoga also changed her emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Being in a room for 90 minutes staring at your reflection and all your imperfections really challenged her to grow and develop more confidence. She appreciates the awareness the yoga has brought to her life, in terms of how she treats others, as well as herself. One of her favorite things about the yoga is that you don't have to reach full expression to receive the many benefits of the practice. As Lisa says, it's a yoga practice, not a yoga perfect. Excellent pearls of wisdom!

When she's not in the hot room, Latoya spends most of her time with her best friend and husband, Eric. Together they have a darling pup, Granger, named after her favorite Harry Potter character.
