Laura Perez


Laura was raised in Houston and has lived in San Antonio since 2002. She graduated from Trinity in 2006 with a BA in Sociology, and also has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver.

Laura started her yoga practice in 2010, after a running buddy convinced her that it would help heal and prevent injury. She’s been regularly practicing ever since! The benefits soon went beyond the physical – in addition to increasing endurance and strength, the yoga helps with stress relief and mental focus.

Outside the hot room, you can find her training for races and running with her dog Fancy, WODing at Bust a Move Crossfit, or working as a Social Worker at a local Hospice agency. She also loves sharing a craft beer on a patio with her husband Tony.
