Originally, from north of Philadelphia, I moved to San Antonio from Tucson, Arizona, in 2011 with my husband and daughter. My family motivates everything I do!What brought you to the yoga practice?
A few years ago, I found Bikram through a friend. That first 90-minute class was brutal but something in me told me to not to let it stand in the way of my goals. My original motivation was for weight loss but it didn’t take long to see it brought so many other wonderful things along with it along with helping me lose the weight I wanted and needed to lose! I’ve come to some great realizations and life decisions on the yoga mat and am forever grateful that I’ve discovered the Union.What is your favorite class and how often do you come in a week?
It’s hard to pick a favorite class because they’re all awesome in their own way. I recently added Crossfit and have, as with all the other classes, become totally addicted. I try to get to class 5-6 times a week and alternate between crossfit and yoga – to balance it all out.
