What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a very slow yoga practice, holding poses for 2 to 5 minutes each side. The aim is to target deep connective tissue (facia) to help release tension, increase circulation and improve flexibility. There are props involved, like blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps, to help support you through the deep work, so there will be a little support and comfort within the discomfort of stretching and opening.
